The Galleries, Brentwood

Coldrum Group were engaged by Encore Estate Management to deliver an extensive programme of restoration and refurbishment at this listed development in Brentwood.

The scope included pitched slate roof and Bauder flat roof replacements, leadwork renewal, specialist stone and render repairs, and full external redecoration of timber, masonry, and metalwork. Internal works encompassed redecoration of communal stairwells and corridors, plaster and joinery repairs, timber floor restoration, and deep cleaning. Window refurbishment, rainwater drainage upgrades, and lightning protection reinstatement were also completed.

All works were delivered in accordance with conservation and heritage guidance, with full scaffold access, alarmed protection, and strict environmental controls. The project was delivered within an occupied setting, requiring phased logistics and a strong emphasis on resident safety and communication.
