Woodgate Lodge, Cliveden Estate

Coldrum Group were appointed to deliver a comprehensive refurbishment of the Grade II listed Woodgate Lodges, located within the prestigious Cliveden Estate.

The works involved full roof replacement including reclaimed tiling, breathable underlay, new battens, insulation upgrades, and chimney restoration. Internally, the lodges were stripped back and sensitively restored using traditional lime plaster, timber lath ceilings, and reclaimed joinery materials. New kitchens and bathrooms were installed, complete with modern fixtures while maintaining the historic character.

Essential upgrades to heating, drainage, and electrical systems were carried out under a contractor’s design package, including new oil boilers, secondary glazing, and compliant fire and carbon monoxide detection systems.

External repairs included masonry repointing, rainwater goods renewal, window and door restoration, and full decoration using heritage paints.
